How they are made
Each sign is CNC-carved from pine or poplar milled by an Amish sawyer a short drive from our shop, then hand-finished and stained. The letters are cut into the wood rather than printed on it, so the design has depth you can run a thumb over and nothing on the surface that can chip or peel.

The one room a joke earns its keep
A bathroom sign has a captive audience and about four seconds of attention. That is why the short ones work best, and why the range here leans funny rather than decorative. There are farmhouse designs for a half bath a guest will see, and sharper ones for the bathroom only the household uses.

Guest bathrooms take the warmer designs — a welcome, a sweet-cheeks line, something your mother-in-law can read without comment. A kids' bathroom takes the reminders, which are funnier when carved than when shouted.
