Refund Policy
At BlueGrass Gifts, we handcraft every sign to order, which means our return policy is a little different from a typical retailer. Here is how it works:
Return Window
You have 7 days from the date you receive your order to request a return. Requests made after 7 days cannot be processed.
Custom-Stained Signs
Because every wooden sign is cut, carved, stained, and finished specifically for your order, we are unable to accept returns for change-of-mind. This applies to standard signs as well as personalized or custom orders. We strongly encourage reviewing product photos, stain color options, and sizing carefully before placing your order. If you have questions, reach out to info@bluegrassgifts.com before ordering and we are happy to help.
Damaged or Defective Items
We stand behind the quality of everything we make. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect in any way, contact us at info@bluegrassgifts.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the issue. We will replace the item or issue a full refund, whichever you prefer.
Mugs and Apparel
Unworn, unused mugs and apparel in their original packaging may be returned within 7 days of delivery. Items must be in the same condition they were received, with all tags and packaging intact. Custom or personalized mugs and apparel are non-returnable unless damaged or defective.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned under any circumstances unless damaged or defective:
- Custom-stained or personalized wooden signs
- Custom or personalized apparel and mugs
- Sale items
- Gift cards
How to Request a Return
To start a return, email info@bluegrassgifts.com with your order number and photos (if applicable). If your return is approved, we will send instructions on how and where to send your package. Items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted.
Exchanges
The fastest way to get the item you want is to request a refund for the original item (if eligible) and place a new order for the replacement. We do not offer direct exchanges.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the refund decision. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return and you have not received your refund, please contact us at info@bluegrassgifts.com.
European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If your order is shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition it was received, unworn or unused, with tags and in its original packaging. Proof of purchase is required.
