How they are made
Each sign is CNC-carved from pine or poplar milled by an Amish sawyer a short drive from our shop, then hand-finished and stained. The letters are cut into the wood rather than printed on it, so the design has depth you can run a thumb over and nothing on the surface that can chip or peel.

The ones that are actually about them
Most parent gifts are generic by design, which is why they end up in a cupboard. The designs here work because they are specific: the tired-mom ones, the dad's-garage ones, the lines about a house that is loud. Somebody reading it should recognise the person before they recognise the sentiment.
