Engraved, never printed

Every glass here is laser-etched into the glass itself — a permanent deep frost, not a decal sitting on the surface. Printed glassware photographs beautifully and then quietly surrenders in the dishwasher, corners lifting and letters going patchy by the second summer. There is nothing on top to peel, so the engraving lasts exactly as long as the glass does.

Hold one up to a window and the light catches the cut. That is the difference you are paying for.

Stemless, and why

These are stemless. They survive a dishwasher rack, a kitchen counter and a book-club evening in a way stems do not, and they stack in a cupboard without a fight. A stem looks elegant in a photograph; a stemless glass is the one that is still in the cupboard in five years.

What you can put on one

Most designs take a first name. Several take more — a role and a date for a bridal party, a family name with an established year, the names of the children who made someone a mother, three initials set as a monogram. Type it at checkout and we cut your spelling exactly, so confirm it once before ordering rather than afterwards.

Longer names set smaller rather than wrapping, which keeps every one of them readable across the curve of the bowl.

The bridal party set comes in four, six or eight, each glass carrying her own name, role and your wedding date, engraved individually and shipped together in one box. Maid of Honour, Matron of Honour, Mother of the Bride and Flower Girl all fit, so a mixed party reads correctly on a single order.
