What does this sign say?

It reads “Welcome My Pretties”, carved into the wood and hand-stained. The wording is fixed — this design is not personalised, so what you see is what arrives.

On a covered porch, yes — under an overhang it holds up for years. Fully exposed to driving rain and direct sun it will weather like any real wood sign does, so somewhere with cover is worth choosing.

What size works beside a front door?

The Small at 16" x 3.5" suits the narrow strip beside a door frame. Above a door or leaning on a porch post, the Medium or Large reads better from the path.

What finishes can I choose from?

Twenty. Stains run from Early American and Dark Walnut through Briarsmoke, Weathered Gray and Aged Barrel, and there are solid paints in White, Black and Gray. Every one is hand-applied, so the grain still reads through the stains.

Are the letters carved or printed?

Carved. Every letter is cut into the wood on a CNC and the piece is then hand-stained. There is no vinyl and no printing, so nothing on the surface can peel, chip or fade off — run a thumb across it and you can feel the letters.
