What does this sign say?

It reads “Welcome, Hope You Like Cat Hair”, carved into the wood and hand-stained. The wording is fixed — this design is not personalised, so what you see is what arrives.

On a covered porch, yes — under an overhang it holds up for years. Fully exposed to driving rain and direct sun it will weather like any real wood sign does, so somewhere with cover is worth choosing.

What size works beside a front door?

The Small at 16" x 3.5" suits the narrow strip beside a door frame. Above a door or leaning on a porch post, the Medium or Large reads better from the path.

What wood is it made from?

Solid pine or poplar, milled by an Amish sawyer near our shop in Kentucky. Never MDF, plywood or particle board. Pine takes a stain warm and shows its grain; poplar cuts cleaner and gets used where the lettering is finer.

Does it arrive ready to hang?

Yes. A sawtooth hanger comes pre-installed on the back, so it needs one nail and nothing else. Nothing to assemble and no hardware to buy.
