Cookies for Santa Sugar Cookie Wax Melts
FREE shipping — hand-poured in our Kentucky shop, ships in 2–7 business days
Cookies for Santa is snickerdoodle, vanilla sugar, cinnamon, clove, peppermint. Cookies for Santa is the plate left by the chimney: snickerdoodles with a bite out of one, a glass of milk, and the candy cane somebody added at the last second. Vanilla sugar and cinnamon-sugar cookie first, a little clove, and a cool peppermint finish that makes it unmistakably December.
Cookies for Santa is a sugar cookie wax melt hand-poured in Rineyville, Kentucky, by Bluegrass Belle Wax and Wick. It comes as a 9 oz bag of shaped tarts or an 8 oz squeeze pouch, both $16.99 with free US shipping. Squeeze pouch wax color varies from batch to batch; the pouch in the photo shows one batch, and yours may be a different color. The scent is always the same. Our tarts are natural and plant-based; the squeeze pouch contains mineral oil and is not a natural product.
Where it shines: The kitchen on cookie-baking day and the front room on Christmas Eve.
Tarts or the squeeze pouch
The 9 oz bag of tarts is Cookies for Santa in one of five shapes, tidy and easy to give. The 8 oz squeeze pouch is the newer style: a zip pouch with a spout full of soft wax you squeeze straight into the dish, stronger throw, zero crumbs. Pouch colors vary by batch; the scent does not. The pouch contains mineral oil and is not a natural product.
Ingredients
- Wax tarts (natural, plant-based): coconut-soy wax blend and fragrance oil at a ten percent load.
- Squeeze pouch (not a natural product): the same coconut-soy wax and fragrance oil, plus mineral oil, a petroleum-derived oil, to keep the wax soft and scoopable, and a little wax dye for color.
No paraffin in either style, and nothing in the bag is food.
How to use it
Drop one or two tarts, or a squeeze from the pouch, into the dish of a wax warmer and switch it on. Expect eight to twelve hours of scent per tart. When it fades, let the wax cool and harden, pop it out, and add fresh wax. Every scent we pour is here.
Safety
Use only in a warmer made for wax melts, never leave one on unattended, and keep it out of reach of children and pets. The NFPA home-fire-safety page covers warmers and candles alike. Tarts look like candy; they are not food.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does a sugar cookie wax melt smell like?
Butter, vanilla and sugar with the edges just browned. Ours adds cinnamon from the snickerdoodle and a peppermint note from the candy cane, so it is a Christmas cookie rather than a plain one.
Is Cookies for Santa a strong scent?
Bakery scents are our strongest throwers, and this is one of them. One tart covers a kitchen and dining room; the squeeze pouch is stronger still.
Which Christmas scent should I start with?
If you want cookies, this one. If you want the tree and the spice cabinet, Matching Pajamas. If you want gingerbread and coffee, Jingle Bell Jammies. All three melt well together.
